Lee Ann Pitman Announces Missouri House District 99 Candidacy
Ballwin, Missouri -- When the opportunity arose to fill a vacant seat in her district, Lee Ann Pitman and her family discussed running for public office. The Ballwin resident filed on May 7th in Jefferson City as the official Republican nominee for the 99th House District. A special election will be held on November 5th.
“Today and for the time to come, we have a real opportunity to be a force for positive measures
at the state level, to faithfully represent voter confidence and to serve constituents in my home district,” said Lee Ann.
One issue she cares deeply about is education because of the value it brings to enrich the lives of Missouri children and their communities. “We need to support our educators and provide every child in Missouri with the opportunity to succeed.” Her youngest son Ben recently graduated from Parkway South High School and Technical School and Bradley is attending UMKC.
It is her desire to serve the community by listening to the people, “I promise to maximize my time to ensure people are actually represented in the issues that matter to them.” In the past, Lee Ann has volunteered on several successful campaigns where she has learned with hands-on experience what it takes to win an election.
Her husband Wesley and two sons, Bradley and Ben, are actively supporting her campaign.
